QNS: Carole Feuerman exhibition draws crowds to QCC art gallery opening

Acclaimed sculptor Carole A. Feuerman returned to Queensborough Community College (QCC) Thursday evening for the opening of “From Line to Life,” an exhibition celebrating the internationally recognized artist’s evolution from early drawings to her renowned super realist sculptures.

The exhibition opened May 28 at the QCC Art Gallery, welcoming visitors, students, faculty and members of the art community eager to experience Feuerman’s latest presentation. Widely regarded as a master of the human figure, Feuerman recently received the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center, adding further distinction to a career that has spanned decades and continents.
