SplashMag: MONUMENTS OF STILLNESS review: Carole Feuerman’s sculptures on The Magnificent Mile/Chicago

On June 2, 2026, Chicago unveiled a major public art exhibit. 8 large sculptures (soon to be 10) have been installed in the open air on Michigan Avenue, crafted by internationally lauded sculptor Carole Feuerman, presented by Hilton Contemporary, whose gallery at 716 N. Wells, is displaying smaller, distinctly impressive works by Feuerman.  Monuments of Stillness, which graces The Magnificent Mile from the Wrigley Building north to Oak Street, will remain in place through November 2026- and hopefully, at least a portion will remain thereafter, if/when Chicago purchases any of the works.
